Appointment FAQ

To Do and Bring:

  • Have a clear idea of what you would like to have done so you can express that to me.  I try to let everyone involved know if it will be a little later.
  • Research dreadlocks online so you can have the best idea of what to expect.
  • Send me pictures of your hair before the appointment to help my estimate. If you’re wary, you can cut or blur the face out. I just need to see the hair.
  • Have clean, dry hair that has been washed within the past 24 hours ready.
  • Set aside a whole day so that neither of us feel rushed or stressed.
  • Bring your DVDs/Music/laptop. Sitting in a chair for a while doesn’t need to be boring too.
  • Bring some food for yourself.
  • Bring all your dread questions — I’ll be happy to answer anything you throw at me.

Please Keep in MInd:

  • My estimate is not the golden rule. Sometimes appointments run late due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Do not wash with conditioner the week before your appointment.

My name is Keri-Anne.
I had my first set of locks for five and a half years.
I love looking after dreadlocks, and spend a great deal of my time researching and discussing techniques for the maintenance and creation of dreadlocks.
